Languages 
Teaching at the Faculty of Design and Art takes place in three languages: Italian, German and English. This does not mean, however, that students have to be trilingual right from the start in order to being able to study in the faculty. Our aim is to allow them to become trilingual (in other words, to have a high level of proficiency in two languages and fully operational in the third) during their studies. In order to fulfil this aim, the faculty encourages all students to follow their very own personalised academic paths, which begin even before they have been admitted as students. To achieve this, the faculty offers an individual advisory service on language matters, various language courses, even for specific purposes, and assessment of progress. All this helps our students to obtain that little bit of extra for both their professional and personal future lives.
