EUROBS (observatory on the current economic, financial and cultural relations in the territory) is a joined research initiative of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, the University of Innsbruck and the University of Trento which is financially supported with generous grants from the Banca di Trento e Bolzano and Intesa SanPaolo. The research initiative looks into the causes of regional development and prosperity and makes research results applicable to a wider community and regional policymakers. Particular areas of interest are the role of demographic change for the functioning of the regional labor markets, regional differences in firm performance, and networks and intangible capital as factors of regional development.
