Tens of thousands of students around the world are taking part of courses organized by well known professors. MOOCs are coming to Bolzano now. Should we do it? Should we forget it? The Faculty of Computer Science starts the celebrations for its 10th anniversary with "The Beauty of Computers", a cycle of conferences of general interest aimed at both high school students and all interested citizens. This talk will focus on a recent and fascinating trend: using computers to understand... people. The talk will be in ENGLISH - ITALIAN and GERMAN translations will be available.

The Faculty of Computer Science starts the celebrations for its 10th anniversary with "The Beauty of Computers", a cycle of conferences of general interest aimed at both high school students and all interested citizens.  This lecture will examine the challenges and opportunities of multimedia search engines and corresponding Multimedia Information Retrieval research.  The talk will be in GERMAN and ITALIAN translation will be available.
