Feed: (RSS or Atom) include all academic activities scheduled for the next 14 days, visible according
to the filters that apply on the timetable from where you have clicked on the feed-link.
iCalendar subscription: you may subscribe the calendar in Outlook (since version 2007), iCal, Evolution
and other calendar applications. The iCalendar includes all academic activities scheduled between a given day period,
visible according to the filters that apply on the timetable from where you have clicked on the feed-link.
iCalendar download: you may download and import the academic activities between the 'from date' and 'to date'
in an older version of Outlook than the 2007 version or in any application
supporting the import of the iCalendar format. If you import the events by downloading the file and
importing it in an application, the events will not be automatically updated!
Outlook supports the subscription to this calendar since version 2007!If you are using Outlook 2003, you can either download and import the calendar-file, in which case the
academic activities will not be updated automatically, or you may try out a third-party plugin that adds to the 2003-version
of Outlook the ability to import the calendar (no support). You can find this plugin at http://remotecalendars.sourceforge.net/ .In order to subscribe to the RIS Timetable of the selected academic activities, you may
click on the subscription-link, as marked in the following screenshot. A window appears asking you to choose an application where to import the calendar.
Choose 'Microsoft OfficeOutlook' or your favourite application and confirm by clicking on the 'OK' button.(If you have an older version than Outlook 2007 installed, a website appears explaining that the
calendar is not supported) A window appears asking you if you want to add the so-called Internet Calendar to your
Outlook and subscribe to the updates. You should confirm by clickling on the 'Yes' button.
In case you want to define another name for the calendar, click on the 'Advanced' button, which open a new window where
you may change other settings. Since the iCalendar includes all events between the previous 14 days and the next 30 days, it may happen that
in the moment in time you are subscribing to the calendar there is no academic activity scheduled. In this case a window appears,
asking if you want to subscribe to the calendar even if there are no events. You should subscribe to the calendar, which will
be updated automatically when there are some events scheduled.You should now see the new subscripted calendar in the 'Other Calendars' list on the left bar of
your Outlook application. By right-clicking on the subscripted calendar you may rename, delete or perform other operations
on the calendar.
In order to subscribe to the RIS Timetable of the selected academic activities, you may
click on the subscription-link, as marked in the following screenshot.Your iCal application opens asking you if you want to subscribe to the calendar. Confirm by
clicking on the 'Subscribe' button. In the next window, you can specify a name for the calendar and other settings. Be sure to
define the 'Auto-refresh' field with a value, i.e. 'Every hour', so that the academic activities will be updated
automatically. Select the 'Auto refresh' value and confirm by clocking the 'OK' button. Now your calendar should be visible in the calendars' list and the academic activities should be shown
in your calendar.
In order to subscribe to the RIS Timetable of the selected academic activities, you may
click on the subscription-link, as marked in the following screenshot.A window appears asking you to choose an application where to import the calendar.
Choose 'evolution-webcal' or your favourite application and confirm by clicking on the 'OK' button. The next window asks you some details about the subscription. There you should define
a time span of one hour in the field 'Refresh Every', as shown in the next screenshot. This way, the academic activities will be updated
automatically every hour. When you open your Evolution application, you should see the new subscripted calendar in the Calendars view
on the left bar of the application. By right-clicking on the calendar and selecting 'Properties', you may rename and change other
properties of the calendar.
The university timetable can be added to your Android device calendar through Android Calendar web site.
You will need to access your google acount through a browser on a computer.
There are two types of calendars: downloadable calendar (static) and calendar subscriptions.For the downloadable calendar, download the ics file and uppload it in Google Calendar.
