University lifelong learning

Providing opportunities for postgraduate courses and continuing education programmes is one of the main aims of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano. In order to develop these opportunities even further, the Rector has appointed Professor Gabriella Dodero, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science as the university's promoter for lifelong learning processes.
  
As the pioneer in the area of ULLL for this University, the Faculty of Education has set up courses for working teachers and other professional development courses as well as the SSIS, the Postgraduate Specialisation School for Secondary School Teachers which, from 2000, organised courses taking place at the weekend so that secondary school teachers from all over Italy could attend the course while still managing to work during the week.Other faculties have also set up various initiatives
