It is essential that all students enrolled to our Bachelor programmes complete a work placement. The aim of this internship is the accomplishment of activities suitable to guarantee the application of the theoretical knowledge within the company or institution.

Master 2nd level "CasaClima - KlimaHaus"
The students of the Master "CasaClima - KlimaHaus" have to carry out an obligatory internship. It offers the possibility to verify in a practical manner the notions acquired during the core and the specialised course.
This internship amounts to a total of
150 hours. The period, during which students should implement the internship, is the following:

The students are allowed to carry the internship during an alternative period or to extend it,
only after consultation with the Director of the Master.
The Director of the Master has the function of university tutor for all students.

Legal requirements:
Partners collaborating in Italy: The law (see art. 1 of the
ministerial decree 25.03.1998, n. 142) states that: "companies can host work-placement candidates within the ambit of the company’s activities, and within the following limits:
a) companies with fewer than 5 permanent staff, 1 work-placement candidate;
b) companies with between 6-19 permanent staff, a maximum of 2 work-placement candidates at any one time;
c) companies with more than 20 permanent staff, a maximum of 1 work-placement candidate for every 10 permanent staff at any one time.
Maximum Length of Work Placement: The maximum length of the work placement is 12 months. For those graduates wishing to enter a post-graduate program within 18 months of completing their degree, this 12 month ruling also applies. For those graduates with a disability, the maximum length is 24 months (see art. 7 of the
ministerial decree 25.03.1998, n. 142).
