Enrico Avancini received his Bachelor´s degree in physics at University of Trento in 2012, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in physics at Freie Universität Berlin in 2014, working as a master thesis student at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie between 2013 and 2014. He conducted his doctoral studies between 2015 and early 2019 at ETH Zurich while performing all research activities at Empa (Dübendorf, Switzerland) at the Laboratory for Thin Films and Photovoltaics headed by Prof. Ayodhya N. Tiwari, obtainig the title of Dr. sc. ETH Zurich with a thesis focused on the fabrication and characterization of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 thin film solar cells. He is now postdoctoral researcher at the Free University of Bolzano focusing on printed nanotechnologies for sensors.
