PhD work focuses on molecular characterization of chestnut blight fungus, its mycovirus and their interaction with European chestnut in South Tyrol, Italy.
He did his bachelors in agriculture (plant pathology) from University of the Punjab, masters in quality and traceability of food from University of Extremadura. Later, he worked as R&D manager of Farmers Network for one year.
During his career, he attended several national and international conferences.
Speaks English, Spanish, Urdu, Punjabi fluently and learning Italian and German.
