Short bio

I have got an intra-master’s degree in Energy Engineering at the University of Trento and the Free University of Bozen – Bolzano. Currently I’m a Ph.D. student in Sustainable Energy and Technologies at the Free University of Bozen – Bolzano. My Supervisor is Professor A. Gasparella.
My research work focuses on (i) heat and moisture transfer across opaque building components, mainly wood and wood – based products, (ii) the impact and the control of humidity in indoor environments and (iii) on their coupling. The work is based both on experimental activities conducted in the Building Physics Lab (thermal conductivity measurements, sorption experiments, hotbox and so on) and numerical modelling (in MATLAB environment).
