Short bio

Bachelor’s degree in Food technology and Food Process engineering from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia, and Master’s degree in Food Engineering from University of Salerno, Italy. Six years of experience as a technical assistant and as a teaching staff (Assistant lecturer) in Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia.
I speak at different levels, Amharic (native speaker) and English fluently.


- Application of Biosensors and Nano sensors in food engineering , Food analysis, Food Packaging and Food safety and quality,

- Application of Non-thermal technologies for extraction of compounds from food wastes and food sources,

- Non-thermal technologies for reduction of mycotoxin during food processing
