The Program aims to provide students with an introduction to the main Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., cyber-physical systems, assistance systems, collaborative robotics, additive manufacturing, and artificial intelligence) both from a technical and managerial point of view. Beyond that, students get also the possibility to meet and cooperate with other students and professors from different countries and universities in an international and multicultural environment.
The lectures are targeted to (second and third year) bachelor and master students, preferably enrolled in engineering programs like mechanical, management, mechatronics, electronics-ICT, environmental and energy engineering.
The week is co-organized by six European universities of the EUCLIDES Network:
  • University of Udine
  • University of Antwerp
  • University of Girona (UdG)
  • Haute Ecole Louvain en Hainaut (HELHa)
  • KU Leuven (Campus De Nayer)
  • UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL)
  • University of the Basque Country  (UPV/EHU)
  • FH Joanneum University of Applied sciences
The International Week is part of a new Blended Intensive Program (BIP) that will run between 1st March and 30th April 2022. The teaching format, planned in presence (+ additional online activities), combines theoretical lessons, exercises, labs, and an optional project work.
In order to access the Free University of Bozen - Bolzano a valid Green pass is necessary.
