Short bio

Sahira Vásquez graduated as a Food Technology Engineer from ISA University, Dominican Republic, in 2013. In 2015, she obtained the MSc degree Environmental Protection and Food Agricultural Production from Hohenheim University, Germany. From 2016 to 2019 she worked as a teacher in the Department of Food Technology, ISA University. In addition, she has worked as a consultant for the private food sector of Dominican Republic in topics related with food safety such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in vegetables and cacao processing plants. Currently, she is working in the development of printed biosensors for food application.
