Dr. phil.; research assistant, project assistant and research associate at the Universities Innsbruck, Vienna and Hildesheim; since July 2013: Director of the Competence Center for Regional History (ZefüR) of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano; 2017: Habilitation in Contemporary History; since 2014 Visiting Fellow at the Andrássy University Budapest, at the Institute for Contemporary History Munich-Berlin and at the Institute for History at the University of Vienna; 2020 Visiting Professor for Austrian History at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz
