Short bio
Lynn Mastellotto works in sociolinguistics and educational linguistics, with a focus on the teaching and learning of the English language in formal educational settings from preschool to university. Her research interests have different foci, including language policy and planning, multilingualism in educational settings (including CLIL/ICLHE, EMI), teacher education and faculty development, conversation analysis of classroom interactions, and multimodality in literacy and learning, especially through children's picture books. She is also involved in the development of curricula for English for Specific and Academic Purposes (ESP/EAP).
