Guide

To edit your profile information on unibz.it, log in to the CMS using your Scientific Network South Tyrol account. 

  1. Go to https://www.unibz.it/admin/myprofile and click on “Log in”

  2. You will be redirected to the login page of Scientific Network South Tyrol. Log in with your credentials.

  3. You will be automatically redirected to the entry mask and have access to your profile information.

  4. Since we will be handling content in more then one language, the big green dropdown on the top left of the sidebar will define the language your content will be edited in. Once you are satisfied with your changes and have saved them, you can switch the language and edit the content for the new selected language.

    To guarantee a coherent look and feel, all images on the website are taken by our professional photographer. As with the old system, photos are only available for the following categories: Tenured full professors, Tenured associate professors, Technologists with fixed-term contract, Tenured researchers and Researchers with a fixed-term contract. If you do not see any photo in your profile, please contact press@unibz.it to arrange an appointment for the photo shoot. The Press Office will then forward the new image to the members of our Webteam who will be responsible for uploading it to your profile.

    1. Focus (highly recommended)

      In this field you should insert your teaching focus. The focus will be shown on the overview page of the academic staff of your faculty and at the top of your personal page. Please insert the text in all of the three languages. Max. characters are 40.

    2. Short bio (optional)

      You might add a short bio to your profile yourself. Please note: Your curriculum vitae is added by the Personnel Office for Academic Staff. You might send them an updated version personnel_academic@unibz.it via mail.

    3. Main Research Areas (optional)

      You might insert some keywords related to your research activities.

    4. Info (optional)

      In this field you might freely add more information.

    5. Personal website (optional)

      A link to your Personal website

    6. LinkedIn (optional)

      A link to your LinkedIn profile

    7. ResearchGate (optional)

      A link to your ResearchGate profile

    8. Hide OLE Link
      Will hide the OLE Link on your profile

    9. Hide Reserve collection link
      Will hide the Reserve collection link on your profile

    10. Hide All publications (BIA) link
      Will hide the All publications (BIA) on your profile

    11. Office hours (recommended)

      You can define a set of office hours that should appear on your profile. Just add the different Dates and Timeslots + Comment and save your profile afterwards.

    12. Selected Publications (optional)

      In the medium term your publications will be extracted and visualized directly via a Boris/BIA interface. For the time being, you have the possibility to add your main publications here.
      If you upload a file it should be a PDF and it should be named as follows: dd-mm-yyyy-Title-Author

    13. Relevant Links (optional)

      Feel free to add links relevant to your teaching or research activity.

  6. Most of the fields can be edited inline, Office hours, relevant links and publications will be edited in a new screen. Please save your profile before adding or editing them.
  7. Your changes will go live instantly. You can review your changes in your profile link. The link is available in the part “Instructions”
