Develop advanced skills in scientific communication, technology communication, digital media, sustainability and innovation. This will prepare professionals to manage complex communication processes in corporate and institutional contexts.

This first-level programme aims to train professionals who can design and implement scientific and technological communication strategies for companies and institutions. The programme focuses on communicating production processes, products and innovations in a scientifically accurate and technologically sound way that considers their social and environmental impact.
Students develop the ability to address diverse stakeholders, including citizens, employees, journalists, supply chain partners, tourists, and communication professionals. The programme combines theoretical foundations with applied learning, encouraging critical thinking and responsible communication in contexts shaped by digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and misinformation.
A central component of the programme is its challenge-based approach. Under the supervision of their tutors, students work on real-world cases proposed by companies and organisations engaged in technology, developing concrete and innovative communication strategies.

The study plan covers key areas of science and technology communication, including general principles of scientific communication, misinformation in science and technology, communication of empirical and statistical results, artificial intelligence, social media communication, ethics, systems thinking, environmental impact, biodiversity, multilingual and intercultural communication, visual communication, and storytelling techniques.
Teaching is delivered by university professors and contracted experts. Online activities are conducted synchronously using interactive and participatory methods supported by digital technologies.
Attendance of at least 75% of the scheduled activities is required. The master degree is awarded after successful completion of all assessments, the challenge, and the final thesis discussion.
Graduates are prepared to work in science and technology communication within companies, public institutions, producers’ consortia, communication agencies, and organisations operating in innovative and sustainability-oriented sectors. Career paths include corporate communication, science communication, institutional relations, technology marketing, digital media management, and strategic communication consulting.
The programme equips participants to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and to address complex issues such as innovation processes, environmental impact, and technological change. The developed skills are particularly relevant in contexts characterised by digital transformation, interdisciplinary collaboration and the growing public demand for transparent, responsible scientific communication.

Minimum number of students required for activation of the course is 10 and the maximum number of available places is 35.
To gain admission to the programme you need one of the following qualifications:
Participants must also be under the age of 35 years, to be understood as up to the day before the participant's thirty-fifth birthday. The requirements must be fulfilled at the time of the deadline for applications.
Applicants who are about to graduate may be admitted, as long as they obtain their degree before enrolment.
As the language of instruction is exclusively English, applicants must demonstrate at least B2 level proficiency in English, either through an official language certificate or, if no certificate is provided, through an admission interview.
The selection committee consists of at least three members of the Master Board.

The ranking is determined based on the score obtained in the evaluation. In the event of a tie, priority is given to the youngest candidate. The rankings are published at this page and are valid only for the academic year for which they were drawn up.

Please note: Mendacious declarations will be criminally prosecuted and will result in the automatic exclusion from the ranking list.
According to current regulations, it is possible to enrol in up to 2 study courses at the same time. The two study courses must differ for at least 2/3 of the course contents.
The Master is fully funded by the European Social Fund (ESF+). You only need to pay a €16 revenue stamp.
If you have been admitted to more than one study programme, you can secure your admission for a maximum of 2 programmes by paying the designated rate twice.

Please note that you do not gain full student status by only paying the tuition fees. This status will only be acquired upon enrolment. If you have secured your admission, there will be no refund of the duty stamp.
The fee will only be refunded if the Masters programme will not be activated due to the insufficient number of enrolled students.
2. Enrol online in the application portal.

Enrolment is recommended as early as possible, so you have the possibility to upload incomplete documents before the deadline.
If you do not meet the enrolment deadline, you will be excluded and the next applicant in the ranking list will be admitted.
Admission with reservation: If you do not have the required academic qualification, you will be given a conditional offer for a study place and you must submit your qualification upon enrolment. If you achieve your qualification after the enrolment deadline, you cannot enrol, and you will lose your place which will be offered to the subsequent applicant in the ranking list.

Please note that if you do not possess a valid admission qualification, you can be excluded with Rector’s decree even after enrolment.
