2nd Level Master in
This programme trains professionals who can transform educational environments to promote well-being, beauty, and quality. It is a unique course in Italy, based on interdisciplinary dialogue between pedagogy, architecture, design, botany, ecology and art, with the aim of creating stimulating and inclusive learning contexts.
In response to the growing need for the renewal of educational environments, the programme provides participants with the tools to integrate skills in pedagogy, architecture, design, and environmental sustainability. Students will develop specialised knowledge, as well as a strategic vision and social sensitivity. They will acquire the ability to design flexible educational landscapes, implement innovative pedagogical approaches, and create interdisciplinary professional networks.
The course combines theory and practice through intensive residential sessions, online training, workshops, and internships with selected partners. It is divided into three main modules. Lecturers from various academic and professional backgrounds will contribute their expertise to the realisation of concrete projects.
This Master is designed for professionals in education, architecture, design, the natural sciences and culture, as well as anyone interested in specialising in creating quality educational environments that foster a connection with nature and encourage the active participation of the educational community.

The Master is divided into three main modules:
Courses will be taught by lecturers and researchers from the Faculty of Education, as well as professionals from various academic and professional backgrounds who have cross-disciplinary knowledge in areas such as pedagogy, architecture, design, botany, and ecology.
Total load: 1500 hours (60 CFU)
The 18-hour workshop and the 300-hour professional training period will be held at partner institutions located throughout Italy. The rest of the year will be devoted to individual study, online lessons, and preparing the final thesis — activities that can be carried out from anywhere.
The curriculum is designed to facilitate the participation of professionals who are already active in the working world. During the year, the in-person classes are concentrated in three intensive schools, each lasting four days.
During these periods, participants must be present at the Brixen-Bressanone campus to take part in teaching activities, which will take place at the Faculty of Education and with institutional partners in the local area.

This programme prepares professionals who can innovate educational environments and work as designers, consultants or coordinators in both the public and private sectors. Graduates will be able to take on responsible roles in the design and management of educational spaces or pursue advanced academic research.
Developed competencies include designing flexible educational landscapes, implementing innovative pedagogical approaches, and creating interdisciplinary professional networks in response to the growing need to renew learning environments in an ecological way.

The minimum number of enrolled students required for the master to be activated is 19 and the maximum number is 24.

Students about to graduate are also eligible for selection, provided that the required degree is still obtained at the time of registration.
To be admitted, you must demonstrate an adequate knowledge of the teaching languages (Italian and English).
Your application must be submitted online through the Application Portal. The deadlines are indicated in the “Deadlines” section.
Please note: Mendacious declarations will be criminally prosecuted and will result in the automatic exclusion from the ranking list.
According to current regulations, it is possible to enrol in up to 2 study courses at the same time. The two study courses must differ for at least 2/3 of the course contents.
If you have been admitted to more than one study programme, you can secure your admission for a maximum of 2 programmes by paying the designated rate twice.

Please note that you do not gain full student status by only paying the tuition fees. This status will only be acquired upon enrolment. If you have secured your admission, there will be no refund of the tuition fees unless you do not pass your secondary school final exam.
The fee will only be refunded if the Masters programme will not be activated due to the insufficient number of enrolled students.
2. Enrol online in the application portal.

Enrolment is recommended as early as possible, so you have the possibility to upload incomplete documents before the deadline.
If you do not meet the enrolment deadline, you will be excluded and the next applicant in the ranking list will be admitted.
Admission with reservation: If you do not have the required academic qualification, you will be given a conditional offer for a study place and you must submit your qualification upon enrolment. If you achieve your qualification after the enrolment deadline, you cannot enrol, and you will lose your place which will be offered to the subsequent applicant in the ranking list.

unibz performs the necessary checks on your foreign qualification and in case of doubt reserves the right to request additional documents.
Please note that if you do not possess a valid admission qualification, you can be excluded with Rector’s decree even after enrolment.
Tuition fees amount to € 4,500. The amount is to be paid in a single instalment upon enrolment.
Payment of fees is a prerequisite for enrolment.
If you abandon your studies, renounce them, or are excluded from them, you are not entitled to a refund of the amount paid.
