Researchers’ Night is a European initiative that brings research beyond traditional academic settings, creating opportunities for direct exchange and dialogue between the research community and civil society. During an evening open to the public, researchers share insights into their work and show how research can make a tangible contribution to collective well-being, social innovation, and our understanding of the major transformations shaping our time.
At the heart of the initiative is the dialogue between research and society: an opportunity to highlight the public value of knowledge and actively engage citizens by inviting them to ask questions and share their experiences, perspectives, and curiosity. In this way, research connects more closely with the needs and challenges of local communities, fostering an open and accessible exchange between the university and society.
The Competence Centre for the Management of Cooperatives will take part in Researchers’ Night, which will be held in Bolzano on 25 September, with a trilingual outreach activity open to the public.
As part of the initiative, the Centre will host an “Aperitif with Researchers”, an informal space for meeting and exchange where participants can learn more about the activities, projects, and research topics of the Centre. It will be an opportunity to engage directly with researchers, discover how research takes shape, and discuss the role that knowledge can play in the development of local communities and the region.
