International Week - Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
Digital and Sustainable Transition in the Automotive Industry
The Program aims to provide students with an introduction to the transition that is taking place in the automotive sector (e.g., efficiency, electrification, advanced robotics, digital twin, simulation, assistant systems, and additive manufacturing) with particular focus on the new technologies with an eye to sustainability. Beyond that, students will get the possibility to meet and cooperate with other students and professors from different countries and universities in an international and multicultural environment.
The lectures are targeted to (third year) bachelor and master students, preferably enrolled in engineering programs like mechanical, automotive, mechatronics, electronics-ICT, environmental and energy engineering.
The week is co-organized by KU Leuven (KUL) (Euclides Network)
The event will also feature experts from other European Universities such as Technical University of Kaiserslautern (TUK), Polytechnic of Milano (POLIMI), and Polytechnic of Torino (POLOTO).
The Blended Intensive Program will run between March 23rd to 27th 2026 in Bolzano (Italy), with virtual and online activities and one week of in presence lessons.
The teaching format will combine theoretical lessons, exercises, labs, and project works.
Funded by the Erasmus+ Programm.
Registration will be open soon.
