This seminar explores the growing importance of political consumerism and the emergence of Sustainable Community Movement Organisations (SCMOs) as a collective form of grassroots participation. Moving beyond individualised activism, it examines how these organisations are structured, how they pursue sustainability and social change, and the ways in which they contribute to shaping public policy and democratic practices in contemporary societies.
