Short bio
Massimiliano Schiavo currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Agricultural Engineering Group at the Free University of Bolzano, where he teaches the courses of Advanced Geomatics and Environmental Geomatics. He received his Ph. D. in Groundwater Hydraulics at the Politecnico di Milano and previously graduated in Civil Engineering (hydraulics specialization) at the University of Padua. He is a Guest Editor for 'Water' and 'Geosciences' (MDPI), while being a reviewer for more than 15 international peer-reviewed journals. His research vectors span rural constructions, agricultural engineering, geostatistics, groundwater, probabilistic methods for contaminants assessment, debris flows, and fractal networks.
