Short bio

After getting my bachelor in Mathematics at the University of Trento, my curiosity toward data took me to the Bologna Business School for a 1st level master in data science. I then got my MSc and PhD in Mathematics at the University of Trento (and Bruno Kessler Foundations), in the field of Probability and Mathematical Statistics. Since, I have been post-doc at unitn, junior assistant professor (RTD-a) at the University of Genoa (DIMA) and I am currently a junior assistant professor (RTD-a) at unibz.

Main Research Areas

I am fascinated by complex data, being them points of a metric spaces, functional data, or networks. I approach these data using robust statistics (e.g. data depths) and geometry (information geometry).
