The programme includes a compulsory internship aimed at completing the training of students enrolled in the degree course Master in Tourism Management.
Given the highly practical nature of the sector, this represents an opportunity for personal growth, the integration of theoretical knowledge and the acquisition of practical skills in the field of tourism management.
The internship, which is consistent and appropriate to the specific nature of the degree programme, is an experience aimed at refining the skills learned in the classroom, as well as acquiring professional skills in a real organisational and productive context and facilitating the career choices of future graduates, encouraging a first approach to work.

Educational objectives
ILO (Intended Learning Outcomes) ILO 1 Making judgements ILO 1.1 Acquire the ability to select data and use appropriate information to describe a problem related to the management of tourism enterprises, as well as associations, consortia, and tourist destinations. ILO 1.2 Acquire the ability to relate models and empirical evidence in the study of tourism enterprises, associations, consortia, and tourist destinations. ILO 2 Communication skills ILO 2.1 Graduates will be able to communicate specialized content of individual disciplines effectively, both orally and in writing, using different registers depending on the audience and the communicative and educational purposes, and to assess the educational impact of their communication. Written and oral communication skills are particularly developed through training activities carried out in preparation for the Master’s thesis, through the discussion of business cases, and through interactive lectures involving group discussions and the comparison of individual analyses. ILO 3 Learning Skills ILO 3.1 Ability to identify thematic connections and establish relationships between different cases and contexts of analysis. ILO 3.2 Ability to frame a new problem in a systematic way and to generate appropriate taxonomies. ILO 3.3 Ability to develop general models based on the phenomena studied.
