Faculty of Economics and ManagementShort bio
Silvia Cortesia is a PhD student in Management at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and the University of Trento. Her research explores how artificial intelligence reshapes decision-making in early-stage investment, introducing the concept of algorithmic co-framing. She combines academic research with entrepreneurial practice as the founder of Winds2Ventures, an AI-driven platform for startup–investor matching.
My main research areas span the intersection of artificial intelligence, cognitive and organizational decision-making, and early-stage entrepreneurship. I am particularly interested in how evaluative practices, judgment formation, and organizational routines evolve when algorithmic systems become active participants in investment processes
