Short bio
Giorgio Tavano Blessi, PhD, is a contract professor at the Faculty of Education of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy). He holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from the SSAV – Advanced School of Higher Studies in Venice. He has collaborated with several Italian universities, including Trento, Verona, Bologna, Venice, and Milan, as both a lecturer and researcher. He has conducted research activities at HEC Montréal (Canada), Macquarie University Sydney (Australia), and the University of Barcelona (Spain). He holds the Italian National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as Associate Professor in the field of Environmental and Territorial Sociology (GSPS-08/B). His areas of expertise include marketing, local development, individual well-being, and cultural economics. He teaches Marketing and Communication in the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Communication and Culture Sciences.
