My research focuses on the engineering of dependable autonomous cyber-physical systems by bridging software engineering, embedded control, distributed computing, and artificial intelligence. Within the Faculty of Engineering, I contribute to connecting expertise in Software Engineering (Janes), Security and Software Testing (Russo), Cloud–Edge Computing (Pahl), Autonomous Vehicles (von Ellenrieder), Robotics (Peer), and Smart Manufacturing (Rauch). My goal is to develop system architectures that integrate these domains into trustworthy, adaptive, and deployable autonomous systems.
