Short bio

Technologist at the AI Lab at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
PhD in Computer Science with research on decentralised consensus and large-scale distributed systems.
Works on AI infrastructure, scalable software systems, and experimental platforms for distributed computing.

Research Focuses

My research and technical interests lie in distributed systems, scalable AI infrastructure, decentralised consensus protocols, and performance evaluation of large-scale computing systems.
I am particularly interested in the design of reliable and efficient architectures for AI workloads, system simulation and benchmarking, and the integration of cloud-native technologies to support experimental and production AI environments.

Info

I am a technologist at the AI Lab at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where I contribute to the design, development, and operation of software infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence research and applications.
I obtained my PhD in Computer Science with a focus on decentralised consensus protocols for extreme-scale blockchain systems. During my doctoral research, I implemented and evaluated multiple distributed protocols using large-scale simulation frameworks, and worked on extending experimental platforms to support new system architectures and network models.
My professional interests include distributed systems engineering, backend development in Java-based environments, cloud-native technologies, and performance-oriented system design. I am particularly interested in enabling reliable, scalable, and reproducible experimentation for modern AI workloads and large-scale computing systems.
