Thomas Preindl is a PhD student in the Advanced Systems Engineering program, researching electronic textile sensors in the Media Interaction Lab. He examines various textile manufacturing methods (i.e. knitting, braiding, embroidery) for their applicability in pressure and touch sensing.
When he is not working on his next publication, he is engulfed in one of his many passions like amateur radio, large format photography, or culinatronics.
