BRICKS

Abstract

The construction sector faces urgent challenges, including labour shortages, low productivity, high accident costs, and sustainability pressures. BRICKS addresses these through a novel approach to faster, safer, and more efficient construction based on advanced robotic systems, digitally enabled building components, data-driven planning, intelligent control, and coordinated multi-agent operation. The BRICKS methodology brings together complementary innovations in construction system design, robotic assembly, digital workflow integration, adaptive autonomy, and human-robot collaboration.
