MORPHEUS
Abstract
The MORPHEUS project proposes a next-generation, sustainable and modular platform for multiparameter sensing in sensitive indoor environments such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. By integrating soft, solution-processed electronics, functional 2D/0D materials and polymeric systems, MORPHEUS will deliver a fully flexible and reconfigurable sensing system capable of monitoring both human physiological signals and environmental conditions in real time. The core innovation of MORPHEUS is a plug-and-sense architecture: a conformable, ultra-thin electronic backbone supports interchangeable sensor modules that can detect a wide range of parameters—including pressure, temperature, strain, humidity and bio-impedance.
