Tenured associate professors | Artificial Intelligence, BPM, Databases
Short bio
I am an Associate Professor at the KRDB Research Centre for Knowledge and Data, Faculty of Computer Science. I devise techniques based on artificial intelligence, logic, and formal methods for the intelligent management of business processes and data. I love connecting theory and practice.
My PhD thesis received the 2007-2009 “Marco Cadoli” Distinguished Dissertation Award, given by the Italian Association for Logic Programming to the most outstanding Italian thesis focused on computational logic.
In 2015, I received the “Marco Somalvico” Prize from the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence. The prize is assigned to the best under-35 Italian researcher who contributed to the advancement of the state-of-the-art in Artificial Intelligence.
