Bachelor in

Social Education

"I want to do something with people" is a sentence we often hear at our Infopoint. If you want to promote your fellow human beings, help them, advise and support them, but also if you want to have an impact on society and achieve social developments, especially for and with disadvantaged people, then social education is the right choice for you.

Course description

In this bachelor programme, you will acquire theoretical foundations and practical skills to work in socio-educational fields of action with children or adults, with healthy people, with people with special needs and abilities. You will acquire scientific knowledge and skills in the fields of extracurricular education and social integration as well as in the field of community work, social economy and socioculture.

The focus of this interdisciplinary programme is on theoretical issues, practice-relevant research and development, methods for dealing professionally with social problems as well as topics of education and lifelong learning. Interdisciplinary key qualifications, such as intercultural skills, are another important component.
