Short bio
Ivan Donadello received his Ph.D. in Computer Science jointly from the University of Trento and Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Trento, Italy) in 2028. From 2018 to 2021 he was a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler on the topic of computational persuasion for behavioural change virtual agents. From 2021, he is assistant professor in Computer Science at the Faculty of Engineering at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
His research interests focus on predictive process monitoring in the light of Neuro-Symbolic Artificial Intelligence. His research appeared in major journals such as INF FUS, AIIM, IEEE INT SYS, ACM COMP SUR, DMKD, BISE, INFOSYS and major conferences such as IJCAI, AAAI, CAiSE ECAI, BPM (runner up best paper award in 2024), ISWC and IJCNN. He currently heads the machine learning and data structures and algorithms courses at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
He is associate editor for the Logic and Reasoning in AI section of the Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence journal.
