I am a PhD candidate in computer science, with also educational backgrounds in computational mechanics and biomedical engineering. Together with some of the best researchers, especially my supervisors Prof. Bruno Carpentieri and Prof. Gerhard A. Holzapfel, we carry out interdisciplinary research via numerical analysis and artificial intelligence, focusing on applications in orthopedic biomechanics and cartilage biophysics. For this, we develop finite element methods (for physics-based modeling) and machine learning algorithms (for data-driven modeling) or hybrid frameworks that combine them.
We also hope that our developed techniques can also find applications in other fields and studies. Regarding this, do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
My current research interests are scientific programming, machine learning, finite element analysis, and (hybrid) surrogate modeling, especially with applications in orthopedic biomechanics and AI-enhanced simulation (e.g., for high-performance computing and efficient implementation).
