Short bio
He is a researcher with extensive expertise in Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Limoges from 2014, France, where He graduated with highest honors. He also earned two master’s degrees in microbiology and environmental science from the same university, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering.
His research focuses primarily on Agroecology, sustainable agricultural practices, and livestock science, where He appley advanced methodologies in data analysis to support sustainable development in agricultural systems. He has contributed significantly to different projects, such as CODA and WAST (Welfare Assessment of Dairy Cattle in South Tyrol), and participated in European projects including “No PILLS in Water!” and “PILLS in Water.” from 2013 to 2015. He has also collaborated on the ETHCSTWIN project, which integrates computer science and ethnobotany to advance ethnopharmacological research (2024-2025). Beyond research, He has extensive teaching and training experience, delivering advanced courses in Agricultural Sciences and Environmental Engineering.
With publications in high-impact journals such as Nature, Scientific Reports, Foods, Plants, The Chemical Engineering Journal, Foods, Land, and PLOS ONE, his work is internationally recognized. He speaks English, French, Italian, and Arabic.
Currently, He is engaged in the TEDY project, focusing on the transition of the dairy sector toward agroecological practices to promote sustainable and resilient dairy farming systems.
