Brian is a PhD candidate in MEA-Sustainable Agricultural Production at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, in collaboration with the University of Lincoln. His research focuses on measuring sustainable diets, dietary diversity indices, and food system transformation using econometric techniques and large datasets. He has experience in agribusiness value chains, agri-food systems, and participatory approaches to climate-resilient food systems. His broader interests include historical foodways, trade networks, and the socio-cultural dimensions of food.
