Short bio
Usman Rafiq is a doctoral researcher at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. His main areas of research center around empirical software engineering, and software startups, particularly but not limited to information monitoring, analytics, and software engineering in software startups. Previously, he earned prestigious European Masters from two European universities. Thereafter, he served as a lecturer of Software Engineering at a public sector university in Pakistan for three years. His main responsibilities included teaching and instructing advanced software engineering courses to undergrad students, curriculum design, and supervision of final-year projects. He also holds more than two years of industry experience in system analysis, design, and development.
