Short bio
Gennari is senior RTD, tenure-track Associate Professor. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2002, Amsterdam Univeristy. She was post-doc with the ERCIM “Alain Bensoussan” fellowship for talented young researchers, at CWI, Amsterdam, in 2002, then at FBK-irst, Trento, in 2003. She co-authored more than 100 international papers. Gennari authored and managed several projects, e.g., TERENCE (2010-2013). Therein she had the roles of S&T coordinator, WP leader, and PI. This project received excellence marks from the European Commission. She is also the Scientific Assistant of the IxD&A HCI journal, chair of the international series of mis4TEL conferences for HCI and technology enhanced learning, and she is regularly invited to review articles for top HCI conferences and journals.
