Muhammad Bilal Khan holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a joint M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from Umeå University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). Since 2023 he has been pursuing a Ph.D. in HCI and Education at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Italy), where his research explores phygital storytelling toolkits for young children.
His research centres on child-computer interaction, specifically technology-enhanced storytelling. He investigates how children engage with phygital artefacts to create and share narratives, and how these interactions stimulate imagination and support learning.
