Project description: The notions interrelate within acomplex system of law and politics; this, in turn, determines the way in whichborders are defined, delimited and maintained, both in their reality as well asin their legitimacy. The notion of border is thus re-thought on the basis ofthis problematic relationship between insiders and outsiders, with particularregard to immigration in the EUREGIO area. Border would be considered from aninterdisciplinary perspective (judicial, economical and philosophical),questioning its current legitimacy on the basis of a contradiction between thefundamentals of its grouding and the corruptness of the empirical reality.
