The experience of Saint Oswald's garden
Local stories and traditions to promote children's motor and cognitive development
The online conference presents the results of a project carried out between September and November 2021 with boys and girls from the Clementino Vannetti school, discovering the Sant'Osvaldo garden in the Santa Maria district of Rovereto.
With a view to outdoor education in the northern European tradition, the research conducted by Patrizia Tortella with the help of the nursery school's teaching staff, combined outdoor physical exercise, stimulation of children's motor and cognitive skills, with the value of a story based on local history and historical-artistic evidence.
