Artist’s talk
During his talk, the artist Uriel Orlow (*1973, in Zurich) will outline his artistic practice and offer insight into his research-based BAU Residency project Forest Futurism, Chapter 1: Tree Time Travel. The project forges connections between local scientific research and global climate concerns and the urgent need for alternative visions of the future.
Uriel Orlow is an artist with a diasporic background who lives and works between London, Lisbon and Zurich. In his research-based and process-oriented artistic practice, Orlow explores plants as political actors, as witnesses to the past and as guides for the future.
