FABRAD Launch from 3:00 PM

With FABRAD ✦ we are presenting the first cargo bike for (free) rental for unibz students and staff. After its launch, users will be able to pick it up at the BITZ unibz fablab, and then return it safely – promoting car-free mobility and helping to reduce CO₂ emissions.

The FABRAD ✦ is not just an ordinary bicycle but a so called XYZ CARGO TRIKE which is versatile, robust, and easy to ride. Weighing only 34 kg, it’s one of the lightest (34 kg) three-wheeled cargo bikes available. This battery powered bicycle allows you to transport carry heavier loads with ease.

The FABRAD ✦ is an initiative by the Competence Centre for Sustainability. Its core objective is to promote and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable South Tyrol. In close collaboration with the BITZ unibz fablab we invite you to learn more about the start of this new service for and with the unibz community.

Bolzano Critical Mass from 5:30 PM

Critical Mass is a worldwide movement in which cyclists join together in as large a group as possible and ride through cities to make sustainable mobility visible. With the FABRAD ✦ we support this initiative to reclaim the streets together and celebrate cycling, community, and more sustainable mobility.

Join us at Bolzano Critical Mass! All bikes welcome - bring your lights, friends and good vibes.

Meeting point: 5:30 PM at Piazza Mazzini (the critical mass ride starts at 6:00 PM).
