Organic thin-film transistors (TFTs) are promising candidates for future flexible and transparent electronics, thanks to their ability to be fabricated at low temperatures. Hagen Klauk (Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research) will present advances in organic TFTs with nanoscale dimensions, including devices with 100 nm channel lengths fabricated on flexible PEN substrates. These devices exhibit excellent electrical performance metrics such as subthreshold swings below 100 mV/decade and switching delays under 100 ns, making them competitive with traditional LTPS and IGZO-based TFTs.
