The PMDI Workshop 2025 marks the launch of the Photonic Materials and Devices Infrastructure at the Free University of Bozen–Bolzano. The event aims to bring together researchers and stakeholders to explore the potential of advanced photonic and optoelectronic materials, with a focus on sustainable, flexible, and bio-compatible device technologies. Through presentations, discussions, and networking sessions, the workshop will explore the potential for collaboration with and between different stakeholders and identify future directions for innovation in next-generation photonics and smart materials in South Tyrol and beyond.
