Participants will build a flying capsule designed to protect an egg during a drop from height. The goal is to land as close as possible to a designated target—without breaking the egg! Designs may be prepared at home, but must be assembled on site, where teams will have the chance to discuss their project with faculty members.

Final scores will be assigned by a panel of expert judges.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Egg integrity (mandatory);
  • Landing accuracy;
  • Economic and environmental sustainability;
  • Creativity and originality:
  • Structural optimization;
  • Efficiency of the protection/damping system;
  • Aerodynamic performance;

 Rules:

  • Electronic devices (e.g., drones) are not allowed;
  • No external cables or guiding systems;
  • The capsule must fly freely;
  • Eggs will be provided by the jury and must not be pre-cooked,
