The seminar will explore the frontier where Public Administration meets the ecosystem of the Third Sector and active citizenship, starting from how the cooperative LAMA Impresa Sociale works to transform public policies into concrete and participatory social innovation processes.

The session will open with an immersion into LAMA’s vision and approaches, exploring the meaning, practices, and challenges involved in coordinating processes of change and support in complex territories. Through the use of participatory methodologies, we will map the perceptions and challenges experienced by participants in order to immediately connect theory with the technical toolbox and with real case studies, ranging from broad territorial strategies to projects of urban and territorial regeneration.

In the second part, the seminar will turn into a methodological workshop, with a practical simulation in the form of a role-playing exercise. Students, public administration staff, and representatives of the Third Sector will have the opportunity to collaborate on innovation scenarios, experiencing first-hand how to engage citizens in dynamic co-design processes rooted in values of participation and shared responsibility.

The meeting will conclude with a moment of collective reflection, during which the solutions that emerge will be compared with the social impact models that LAMA applies daily at national and international levels. This moment will provide an opportunity to initiate a dialogue between LAMA’s methodological approach and the cooperative experience of South Tyrol, identifying points of connection to respond in original and effective ways to the social and economic transformations awaiting the local community.
