The talk examines the increasing transnationalisation of radical right and illiberal actors across Europe. Drawing on findings from the AUTHLIB project, Prof. Manuela Caiani analyses how political parties and social movements develop cross-border networks, circulate ideas through social media, and coordinate strategies via international events. Particular attention is given to shared frames such as anti-immigration and anti-gender discourses, the role of crises like the Covid-19 pandemic, and key hubs and actors shaping transnational cooperation and learning.
