Description

The recently released documentary Bauhaus Spirit (2018) by Niels Bolbrinker describes the fascinating story of the Bauhaus as a statement, a failure and a renewal of social utopia. On the occasion of the Bauhaus centennial, it traces not only the history of the school (from its Weimar era beginnings to its further evolution in Dessau and its termination in Berlin) but tells of artists, scientists, designers and architects who - in their examinations of current challenges - relate to the Bauhaus also today.
