The issue of gender equality, women's entrepreneurship (the founding and management of female-led businesses), and the inclusion of women in leadership roles in companies and institutions remains a challenge despite many advances. In particular, the workshop will provide an opportunity to explore these themes within certain sectors where women's work is still underrepresented or undervalued, such as agriculture and the energy sector.
